The GemTop Commercial Tonneau Cover has been
created with the professional in mind. Its
tough construction starts with the mounting
frame and is built from heavy duty T-profile
aluminum, which is heliarc welded in all four
corners. This gives support from the inside and
top of the bed rails and makes installation a
snap. The 24 gauge steel door skin, which is
electrogalvanized, primered, and covered in a
frost white paint is riveted onto the door
frame. The door frame is built from 17 gauge 1"
square tubing and is also heliarc welded at all
corners. Our exclusive full length double door
hinge connects the doors to the frame and keeps
them working smoothly.
The Commercial Tonneau Cover has the largest
door opening in the industry, which opens to a
full 45 degrees on both sides, allowing you easy
access to all of your valuable storage space.
You will also get the convenience of full access
to your valuable storage space from your
tailgate with the tonneau doors in the open or
closed positions. To secure your valuable
cargo, we offer a single T-handle on each door
with an automotive grade Strattec key cylinder
as standard equipment. The T-handle operates two
Eberhard rotary latches on each door. Each door
comes with two gas props to assist in opening.
For further security, we include an inside
tailgate lock, as standard equipment. The
